The Facilities Apprentice – Week 9

 

It’s been a busy week for us this week with the Facilities Show over in Birmingham, but the Apprentice continues and as always there are lessons to be learned. The task was slightly different this week, with the focus more on marketing, and we also saw a small shuffle of the teams with Nick moving back over to Phoenix. We also saw an inordinate amount of wasted time from members of one team as well as a complete failure to understand the nature of the task from some members of the other team (This seems to be a common theme this series!). The Facilities Apprentice – Week 7

 

A little late this week, thanks to a hectic bank holiday schedule, but better late than never, so here we are with week 7 of the Facilities Apprentice. This week brought another surprise – not in terms of the winning team, but in terms of who was ultimately shown the door. My first reaction was to express my disbelief on Twitter, branding the result a travesty. On reflection, I can understand the reason why the person who stayed was able to survive and there is an important lesson here for all FMs to learn. Continue reading

Recognising Achievement – The Xenon Group Graduation Day
