Michael Hewlett, Ops Director at FM recruitment practice Maxwell Stephens, recently posted an article on his company website emphasising the increasing number of employers that are specifying a requirement for accredited FM Qualifications. Two years into the new BIFM Qualifications and there remains some confusion over which course prospective students should enrol on and perhaps more importantly, which level.
The qualifications are offered at Level 4, 5 and 6 with the ILM also offering a Level 3 qualification and there are many individuals and many organisations who are still unclear of how the levels equate to other, more well-known qualifications such as ‘A’ Levels, HNDs and degrees. For those who have got their heads around the level, there remains a significant number who then are uncertain which level they should enrol on to.

Held on Wednesday 9th November, the Workplace Week Convention was the keystone of Advanced Workplace Associates ‘Workplace Week’ event, a 5 day exhibition of workplaces of the present and the future aiming to educate workplace professionals while raising money for Children in Need.

We’re delighted to announce that the first 3 learners to complete the full diplomas at BIFM Levels 4, 5 and 6 have all been confirmed as having passed the course. Congratulations to Darren Shiels and Naomi Crossan, both from Ernst & Young, who recently passed their Level 6 and Level 5 diplomas respectively, as well as Dawn Marshall of Sodexo who passed her Level 4 in the latter stages of 2010.
